We’ve been a safe haven and beacon for artists and art lovers alike for over 40 years. We house 25 artists in our studios and 15 juried artists in our gallery. Every guest who comes to the space is invited to wander the individual artist studios and meet and see the artists in action!

Through our monthly gatherings and First Friday events, we’ve cultivated a wonderful community and we are thrilled you are a part of it!

DENVER, CO — Artists on Santa Gallery presents “Mirror and Mystery” an art exhibition highlighting artist Patricia J Finley’s ephemeral abstract resin paintings. The show, on view July 18 - August 11, 2025, captures the beauty of water and its interplay of movement, light and texture. The public is invited to visit during regular gallery hours during the run of the show and to the Opening Reception on July 18, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and to stop by during the August First Art Walk on August 1, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

 

Presenting as both a mirror and a mystery, water is an ever-shifting element that reflects, distorts and transforms. Using colored resin as her medium, each of Finley’s works aims to distill the essence of its fluidity. The inherent reflectivity of resin invites viewers to engage with the works as they shift in the light. While water is universal, each individual relates to it in different ways, as they will with these paintings.

 

Trial Lawyer turn artist, Finley entered the art world in the late 2000s, studying at the Art Student League of Denver. She loves the challenging of working with paint, pigment and ink mixed into resin, a complex medium that brings extraordinary possibilities. The deceptively simple surface reveals the complexity underneath with startling clarity. Color leaps out from under resin's cool surface, magnifying it with a jewel-like intensity while shapes seem to move—her art come alive on the wall.

Artists on Santa Fe Gallery at 747 Santa Fe Drive showcases the work of member and resident artists. The selection of original artwork on view includes ceramics, sculpture, paintings, mixed-media, printmaking and jewelry. Regular hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 11 am to 3 pm, Fridays and Saturdays, 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays, Noon to 4 pm, The building is also home to the working studios of 25 + artists. Visitors are invited to explore and discover this enduring creative hub.
